The Light of Buddha Phenomena in Xin Jiang Province

At 8 Februari 2007, The Light of Buddha phenomenon appears on Lake Kanas, Xin Jiang Province. This Phenomenon was caused by light refraction and usually turn up when sun light shine through the clouds and fogs.

In China, this phenomenon is called as the Buddha light circle (Fo Quang).


"Buddha's Light" not only turn up in Xin Jiang but also in a few places at China this last few years:




At September 14th 2006, Buddha's Light turn up at the Juewula Summit which located between Dingri regency and Everest Mountain or Oomolangma in Tibet.



At August 13th 2006, The Circle of Buddha's Light turned up above the sea of clouds up at Mt. Wugong in Jiang Xi Province, The appearance was so real and astonished many sight seer.



At October 20th 2005, The Buddha's Light appear at a desolate area of Tibet Ganzi, Sichuan Province. Buddha's Light was known to turn up often there.



At July 3rd 2005, A Bright sky after an endless storm at tourists place at Yangshimu near Mt. Wugong, Jiang Xi Province. The Buddha's Light turned up twice - at 8 o'clock and 9.25 in the morning. This tourists place was located at the north of Mt. Wugong, at altitude around 1700 m (5.577 feet)



at January 10th 2005, The Buddha's Light was sighted at Mt. Tai, which is also known as "The first mount under heaven" located at Taian city, Shandong Province. The Light of Buddha covered an area around 436 Kilometer square with an altitude of 1545 m (5070 Feet) above sea level.
